Founded in 1958 by brothers Albert and Richard Kleeberg, Kleeberg Sheet Metal started humbly in a two-car garage in Chicopee, Massachusetts. From day one, the Kleeberg brothers were driven by precision and unwavering quality in metal fabrication—a commitment that quickly earned the trust of local contractors and clients.

In the 1980s, the company expanded rapidly, earning major projects including the fabrication and construction that changed the Springfield skyline. Their growing reputation necessitated relocations—from Chicopee to South Hadley, and eventually to Ludlow in 1989. The Ludlow facility has since undergone six renovations and now spans an impressive 100,000 square feet.

In 1999, to better serve evolving market demands, the business launched Kleeberg Mechanical Services, expanding beyond sheet metal into full mechanical contracting solutions.

At various points over the decades, Kleeberg has remained dedicated to innovation—investing in cutting-edge shop technology, refining production methods, and continually improving customer service.
